6060 GSE Team Member Rodney Kline,
Tony Girling of the Helston Lizard Rotary
Club and local fisherman/artist from
Cadwith Cove. Rodney and Mike Lindeau
helped the fisherman get his boat up on
shore and unload it's take of crab.
During our month-long stay in Cornwall and
west Devon we met and talked with people
from all walks of life; from fishermen to Lords.

Gorse, a bristly bush with yellow flowers dominates the landscape in
Cornwall. Hedgerows dissect the countryside in the background

Brian Portch, a member of the Helston Lizard Club
and organizer of many portions of our GSE itinerary, explaining the finer
details of the fishing industry at Newlyn Fish Market in Penzance.

Andrew & Jenny Deacon with family - one of the many host families throughout our stay. Andrew is President of the
Liskeard Club and was a GSE Team Member on an exchange to Hawaii in the '80's.

The Minack Theatre is one of the many unique
and interesting places we saw in District 1290.
It was literally carved into the cliffs at ocean's
edge by a woman that devoted her life to the
endeavor. Team left to right: Mike Lindeau,
Linda Puchbauer, Dan Cotner, Rodney Kline,
Donna Bruns.

St. Michael's Mount, located in Mounts Bay near Penzance, is another place we
visited. Lord and Lady St. Levan participated in portions of our tour of the castle and grounds.

Eric and Rita Trotman (left) were one of the host
families on our visit to the Isles of Scilly. Members
of the Isles of Scilly Club, they own a bed and breakfast on St. Mary's Island. This picture shows a Bronze Age site on the north end of the island.
