This project was developed between the Rotary Club of
Usula, Honduras and Rotary Club of Washington, Missouri following up
after a previous Matching Grant in the 2003-2004 Rotary year to replace
75% of the water supply lines in the village of Pimienta, Honduras.
The town has improved from having unsafe water every
few days to now having clean water for 2-3 hours a day. With the
addition of a storage tank, there will be clean running water all day
long.
