Matching Grant # 54562 - Rotary District 3790 - Philippines 
Medical Equipment for bus for rural areas

This matching grant project was the second developed between Rotary Districts 3790 and 6060. Also partnering with us and providing funding is District 6490 in Eastern Illinois, USA.

This project was planned to commence and be running during 2005-2006 while D3790 and D6060 were sharing in a Group Study Exchange together.

This project will purchase several pieces of medical equipment to be installed in a bus, which will go out to rural areas and provide free treatment.

The Rotary Foundation is providing nearly US $36,000 to fund this project.

The bus was purchased a year or so ago by the Rotary Club of Western Pampanga. In anticipation of this project, the bus was donated to the government, but will continue to be maintained and managed by local Rotarians to insure many years of excellent service.

Project status: approved, funded and complete. Project Closed.
