Matching Grant # 62068 - Rotary District 3200 - India 
Sewing Machines for Self Help Groups

This project funded the purchase and distribution of approximately 800 sewing machines, which were distributed to "self help groups" in southern India.

Rotary District 3200 partnered with Rotary District 6460 in western Illinois and District 6060 in eastern Missouri to sponsor this matching grant.

The beneficiaries of this project are located in the Panchayats of the states of Kerala and Tamilnadu in Rotary District 3200.

This is nearly 25% more machines than we budgeted for,
due to negotiations with the vendor. Excellent work!!
