Ferguson Rotarian Vijay Bhasin, always very active in planning Matching Grants in our district, has organized a project with this district 3140 Rotary Club.  The grant purchased 100 Braille typewriters to aid in educating the blind.

Governor Suresh Rathod of District 3140 assisted in the ceremony where the 100 "Braillers" were presented to the National Association for the Blind in June 2002.

The  Rotary Club of Bombay - Queen's Necklace was the project club in this Matching Grant. President Chaitanya Mehta is seated at Gov. Rathod's left. Also Past President Kamal Jhaveri was instrumental in getting this grant processed.

A banner was prepared for the dedication ceremony. Credit was given to all the clubs and districts involved in this project.
